ISLAMABAD, Dec 11 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, has attended the 40th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Charter Day ceremony as a chief guest.
The event was also graced by officials from the chambers of commerce and industries of SAARC countries, who shared their insights on the economic and industrial progress of their respective nations.
During the ceremony, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and the Federal Minister for Industry, Production, and Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain presented awards to organizations and individuals who had shown exceptional performance.
They congratulated the awardees, saying that their hard work and dedication would contribute not only to the development of their own countries but also to the growth of the entire region.
Attendees of the event took the opportunity to take photographs with Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and the Federal Minister, commending their participation and support in the event.
Meanwhile, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, attended the Silver Jubilee celebration of MOL Pakistan Oil and Gas Company on the occasion of its 25th anniversary.
The event, held at a local hotel, saw the participation of several distinguished guests, including former Chief Minister of Balochistan and Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal, former Federal Minister Syed Naveed Qamar, Hanif Abbasi, MOL Pakistan’s CEO Ali Murtaza Abbas, government representatives, industry experts, and people from various sectors of life.
During his address, Governor Kundi praised MOL Pakistan for its outstanding services, emphasizing that the company holds a significant position in Pakistan’s energy sector.
He said, “MOL Pakistan has not only supported the local economy over the past 25 years but has also played a pivotal role in introducing modern technologies and creating new opportunities in the energy sector.”
He further congratulated the company’s CEO and the entire team on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee, adding, “The Governor House Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is always here to serve you, and I hope the success and development of Pakistan continue. A peaceful and prosperous Pakistan is the guarantee for the development of our future generations.”
At the start of the event, MOL Pakistan’s CEO Ali Murtaza Abbas highlighted the company’s achievements, saying that it had made significant efforts to address the energy crisis through innovation, quality, and dedication.
He expressed his commitment to continue playing a key role in meeting Pakistan’s energy needs.
The celebration concluded with the cutting of the Silver Jubilee cake by Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, Federal Minister Jam Kamal, former Federal Minister Syed Naveed Qamar, and company officials.
